6.3 Mechanical seal

The KP-80 uses a single cartridge mechanical seal. Fig. 6-4 shows the parts in assembly order.

6.3.2 Inspect the mechanical seal every 4,000 operating hours. If leakage exceeds 10 drops per minute, replace the seal immediately.
